The project involves construction of a new visitor centre for Phillip Island's Penguin Parade to replace the existing ageing facilities and provide a world class asset that meets visitor expectations. I really liked the main part of the tour, Phillips Island. Many wild animals cross your route and just before the sun sets the bus arrives at the Penguin Parade visitors centre at Summerland Beach. Perhaps the most prominent animal encounter is the Penguin Parade, which takes place every evening and sees the local colony of Little Penguins make their way up the beach after a long, hard day of fishing.

Here you can also get a sneak peek of the main event, the Little Penguins, while they hide under the boardwalks and poke their heads out of the burrows waiting for the sunset when their mates return from the ocean. People move out of the seats and often leave early so you can still get good views of the penguins as people move about. It is when little penguins return to land, at sunset each day, that visitors to Phillip Island Nature Parks ' Penguin Parade are lucky enough to spot them tumbling from the waves, waddling across the beach and into their colony along the coastline.

We visit the Phillip Island Penguin Parade in Australia to see if it's worth the hype. Join us as we cruise to Phillip Island to watch the magical penguin parade happening on Summerland Beach every day at sunset.A popular sightseeing attraction in Victoria, the little penguins continue to mesmerize visitors who get to see them doing their daily ritual. There are many unique attractions you can find here, such as giant panda, penguins rock, koala, birds, and other things to do here are exciting.

Book Penguins Plus tickets They are well worth the extra cost. Take your seat away from the crowds in the wonderfully located beachfront viewing stand, or if conditions allow, right on the sand, offering superb viewing of the penguins emerging from the water and crossing the beach. To protect the Little Penguins, unfortunately photography is not allowed at the Penguin Parade.

V-line operates a bus tours to phillip island to Phillip Island's main town, Cowes, from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne city. We're world-leaders in little penguin research and study other wildlife including Australian fur seals and coastal birds. Tiered seating gives you a 180-degree view all around the beach and beyond, which means you'll easily be able to watch the penguins as they come ashore.
